What would we be fishing for?

We fish for Rainbow Trout, Grayling, Dolly Varden, and all 4 species of salmon (sockeye, chum, pink, coho). Depending on the time of year will determine what fish we will be fishing for.

What do I need to bring?

1-Fishing license which can be acquired at store.adfg.alaska.gov 2-Snacks and drinks 3-Extra socks and a rain jacket Everything else is provided

Temperatures vary so we suggest dressing in layers. Always be prepared with layers of clothing since unexpected weather changes may occur, we also suggest 2 pairs of socks, a light and heavy pair, to wear in your hip waders since you will be wading in the water.

Hard liquor is not allowed, we allow some beer and wine only. No consumption and no open containers are allowed while boat is in motion. For your safety, and the safety of others, if you arrive inebriated you will not be allowed on a fishing excursion!

Will there be spin fishing or fly fishing?

We offer spin fishing and fly-fishing charters. All fishing equipment is provided however fly-fishing rods are only provided for private fly boats.

Do we fish from the bank as well as the boat?

We fish from the riverbanks. We will take you up the Talkeetna River and fish the tributaries that feed into the main river.

Do you provide processing and shipping of fish?

We do not offer processing and shipping. However, we will filet and bag fish for you. We have fish boxes in our office that you can purchase to take the fish back on the plane. You also can choose to take your fish into anchorage to have a processed and shipped.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

If cancellation is made less than 72 hours: You will be charged for the charter fee in full. If cancellation is made within 30 days of you charter: You will be charged for half of the charter fee.
